Just quietly, heard that you've been really clever lately. Good work. Also, Jill sends greetings and congratulatory gestures to you. Nice one.

Hi Nick
I just did a search on Intersect to find people in Dunedin because
I wanted to invite you to a 350 Climate Action Group's FUN raiser, this coming Friday at the Regent Theatre.

My band - the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra are doing a gig as part of our National Tour, and we want to pack out the Regent Theatre. $5 from each ticket purchased through the '350 Climate Action Group' (not the box office) go straight to funding their important climate action activities.

You can find out more about it here:

Hope to see you there! If you can't make it, please let your friends know.

Cheerio!

Great video Nick!! You work for EnviroSchools? I've been contacting all the enviroschool reps around the country trying to see a way to include Fairtrade as I see a great synergy there! I'm sure it'll continue on with or without funding, we just need some die-hard teachers and great volunteers!

About Me:
I grew up on fresh garden beans and a healthy dose of tree climbing, so my passion for life sciences was set from the word go. I completed BSc (Marine Zoology) in Brisbane 2007 and wondered, 'what now?'. Natural History Filmmaking was the most obvious decision, so I moved to Dunedin to follow chase the dream here at Otago Uni.

People are always learning throughout their lives, and it is because of this that we need to look beyond education in schools and to other forms of communication mediums, such as film. Along with constant involvement in practical 'on the ground' initiatives, I want to help build a sustainable future by producing documentaries that inspire, motivate and drive positive change.

I recently took my bedroom off the grid by building a wind turbine, I have a wicked garden (but slowly dying in this weather!), and am trying to convert a stinky petrol scooter to electric.. I say trying because I don't know what I'm doing! One person can make a difference, but together we will change the world!
Areas of interest and capabilities:
All areas of photography and filmmaking, but huge props to natural history. Everything outdoors and ocean realated, man I love the ocean! Sustainabilty and DIY renewable energy. Gardening! Bikes rule.
