I have a passion for community and social justice, and particularly like working with people on the margins.

Wellington South Time Bank

I'm part of a group setting up a Time Bank in the Wellington South area. 

A Time Bank is a skill-swapping network that uses time, not money, as a measurement tool.  As well as providing a forum to meet people's practical needs, it adds real wealth to a community by fostering connections and relationships as members get to know each other.

It's a great community development tool that has proved really successful in Lyttleton, so it's really exciting to be piloting it here in Wellington!
