350 reasons to support action on climate change

Hey! Here's an opportunity to share your passion on the topic of climate change with the Wellington public.I'm a design student at Massey and am basing my final year project around 350 and 'civic voice'. In other words, I'm on a mission to collect 350 reasons to act on climate change so that I can turn these reasons into a street art campaign. The idea is that the diversity of reasons for wanting action is as great as the diversity of people that climate change will affect – which ultimately,…See More

Hi Alana
I love the reverse graffiti (heard about from Lorelei)- I have a friend with a commercial waterblaster (and watertank on truck) if you want to try something on a bigger scale? I thought about those big silos on the wharf you can see from the motorway, hard to access but. Or find/draw a globe with a speech bubble saying the classic line "clean me!"

Hi Alana - I just had a peek at the 350 reasons video on Vimeo... and wanted to tell you how awesome this project is (as if you didn't know). I'd been on your blog when it first started, but it's great to see it documented via video too. Seriously inspiring stuff. Love your work!

Hi Alana,

Welcome to Intersect!

You can add events and videos, create discussions, join groups and invite your friends and colleagues to join. It's your network, so use it in ways that support you. Get in touch if you have any questions or ideas.

Also - coming from a design background myself - you might be interested to check out 'social design' and the was designers can support ideas and the implementation of sustainability... if you haven't already. The more creative thinkers the better!
