Kia ora,
A number of us meet regularly to celebrate the seasons at The Woolshed in Pukerua Bay, just out of Wellington. We will be celebrating Imbolc this weekend. http://www.thewoolshed.com/

It literally means ewes milk, (the beginning of lambing, and a new food source for some of our ancestors) It is often referred to as first light and celebrates the first stirrings of spring. The ceremony starts at 11am on Sunday. - More details are on the website above, or contact me or Pamela

Season's Greetings everyone. The next seasonal celebration is coming up on April 30th. Juliet Batten and friends are hosting a 'kiwi Halloween' ceremony in Ponsonby, and I am doing a small one in Wellington. Another is happening in Christchurch. Are you doing anything you'd like to let others know about?
I've posted the event here on Intersect. Enjoy!

Thanks for starting this group Rebeka, and inviting me. I am very keen on being in tune with the seasons and deepening our soul connection in celebration of Papa' and Rangi's eternal dance.

Kia ora Rebecca,

January 12th-20th on te Tai Poutini will be a celebration of answering te karanga e hikio ai ki to ao marama. I know that yourself and Stephanie will celebrate wonderfully with my son Pesa and his young friend Mariam. Thanks for the invitation to join this group.

Kia ora,
We have just had Summer Solstice/ Te Maruaroa O Te Raumati/ Litha/ Midsummer's Day around
Dec 20-23rd
Themes for this time are- The turning of the sun, ripening, manifestation, consummation. Tamanuitera (the sun) begins to turn towards Hine-takurua of the sea.
In Pagan Europe it was the time of Solstice fires, processions, fire-wheels, cutting and gathering mistletoe from the oak groves with a golden sickle and water rituals in sacred rivers, wells and in the sea.
