I'm due in Wellington (from Christchurch) Sunday eve 5 Dec 2010 and recruiting potential local tutors for Sustainable Living community courses - could meet that evening in central city - and then running a tutor briefing in Wellington or Hutt Valley on morning of Tues 7th. Make contact if interested: rhys at sustainableliving.org.nz

Howdy Guns. If any of you have skills in creating wordpress-based websites can you please let me know? The Intersect Trust needs to redevelop this website. There's not much content on the website and we'd like the design to be pretty similar, so it's not a big job.

There may be some funds available for this, but we'd also be keen to swap some of your work for lots of exposure and recognition for doing it (e.g. your name on the site, something to add to your portfolio, recognition in the next newsletter to 1600 members etc, if you wish). Please let me know if you're keen or you'd like to know more. We're very open to ideas.

Hi, I've recently arrived in Wellington and heard about the group from Sam Rye.
I have a background in IT team lead on big development projects but looking to do something different than going back to a corporate. I'm here on 12 months visa (at the moment!). I've could do some project management, writing and photography...and potentially anything else that could get me an income!
I could help set up small blogs / web presence etc for organisations although I'm no design whizz. Keen to hear about any opportunities that would prevent me from being an office monkey. Development background is in Java although it's quite rusty just now.

Hi all, I've got a bunch of opportunities at the moment so if you're looking for a gig then hit me up - joshua@enspiral.com or skype (joshuavial) - have listed a couple below but I'm always happy to catch up and listen to what people are looking for

1. I've got two startup opportunities that need a customer focused business mind. Someone who is very comfortable talking to customers, can get inside their heads and help find solutions that meet their needs. Both are bootstrapping so there's only equity on the table at this stage.

2. Over the last 7 months I've grown our programming team from 1 (me) to around a dozen (half full time) and I'd love to meet anyone keen to do the same with our design team. We've got a handful of designers on the books but I'm not the person to pull them all together. Looking for an experienced designer with interest in mentoring/supporting/recruiting others - we've got a proven business model and I can provide a lot of guidance on what has worked for me.

3. I'm looking for a designer who could fill an art director role on a project - think A Scanner Darkly meets Sin City sort of style. Opportunity for cash plus bonuses.

4. Always on the look out for the usual suspects (programmers: rails, php, objective C - UI designers - entrepreneurs, especially those looking for a team to make their web/mobile vision a reality )

Kia ora folks, just landed in Wellington, and a little time on my hands. More used to getting them dirty with practical conservation work, but I have a business management / design & marketing background, dabble in photography, great with project management and recently been studying an eco-tourism diploma. Keen to hear about opportunities great and small, paid and unpaid.

Kia Ora I'm a freelance journalist/writer and photographer.
I'm available to do photography for editorial shoots, family and community events. I'm also available for news and feature writing for print publications as well as media consultancy work in the areas of communications advice, publicity and writing press releases.

Kiaora,

I design & build affordable and great looking websites.

I'm based in Grey Lynn, Auckland and would love to hear about your next project.

I have a background in NGO's and Film Making and love to marry my passions with my day job, so if you would like to talk about taking your idea to the masses via the interweb with video and a great looking website then get in touch!

You can see my portfolio of web and video work and my contact details on my website www.bruv.co.nz

kia ora tatou. I'm a Christchurch based freelance sustainability & environmental educator, working for local government and NGOs (e.g. Sustainable Living), advising architects and small firms (Accredited with The Natural Step Foundation) and volunteering for other good causes (e.g. 1010NZ). Have a little time available for contract work this year, after being too busy in 2009 and interested in evaluations, training or project management, preferably based within Canterbury or virtual, to keep a low carbon footprint. Enjoy teamwork but can operate solo.
Am also looking for volunter help input at 1010NZ and 350.org between now and their 'Work Party 'events of 10th October 2010. Call me on 021 462 260 or email to nz@1010global.org if action and education 'promoting carbon emission reduction' appeals to you.
