Dear people.  Greetings.

How do we sense and make sense of immense phenomena, such as climate change, or radiation, which are real, but real in ways which most of us do not directly experience?

I'd love for you all to consider attending this event next week if you're in Dunedin or Auckland.  TImothy Norton is a Buddhist and although this might sound very 'heady' he's very interested in connecting spirit to words.    Peace to you.

hey guys

this summer a group of young people are organising an event that is based on the individual, on the outter world/cultural influences that shape us, and how that relates to our intentions, decisions and actions.

We are a varied group, working out of Anthroposophy (from Rudolf steiner) and Auyavedic training, and all questions and spiritual streams are welceome to meet and collaborate, and work with what comes towards us.

if you are and your keen to meet other young motivated popele, come on down to dunedin! we'll have a week of good food, great conversation, a bunch of laughs
and some inspiring speakers.
be cool to see you there, for more info chack out summergathering.co.nz

Want to embody more purpose in your life and work?

Registration is now open for this special 4-week course in Wellington for anyone seeking:
- more direction and focus
- greater connection
- better health and resilience
and a greater ability to lead change.

It mixes yoga postures, mindfulness techniques and experiential exercises with practical tools for communicating, organising and collaborating.

It runs from 10:30am-5:30pm for 4 Sundays in a row in November.

I'm co-facilitating this course with some incredible people. If you'd like more info, see the website, download the brochure, or just send me a message. We've already got some Intersectors taking part, so we'd love to have you join us. If you don't live in Wellington or you can't make these dates and you'd like to be notified of future courses in NZ please let me know.

Hi,

What an interesting group - it just caught my eye whilst writing on the 350 Aotearoa wall (sure many of you are members)

Cultivating Conciousness - an interesting theme and some interesting comments below. I feel that awareness and hope is a huge part of conciousness ~ if you are aware of something, it brings it out from your sub-concious and into the front of your mind where you can begin to process and do something about whatever it is that you wish to deal to/think about. About 4 years ago I left the UK - was sick of hearing people talk about Climate Change, and wanted to do something about it. I found it was something which people pushed to the back of their 'busy lives', as if it would simply go away if they didn't think about it.

I went the other route. I let it flood into my concious - and joined a program in Borneo to do something. That led onto working in Australia in Conservation, and then to the West Coast of the South Island - a 100'000 tree replanting project.

As I mentioned - I think cultivating conciousness is also about hope. The feeling that you actually have some power over the future, and what is happening now. I find not only speaking to others, but getting active is a fantastic way to bring out an issue and give yourself hope and believe you can make a change. We are not simply small cogs.

I've run across two things that may be of interest from the Enviro side of things;
Transition Towns - http://www.transitiontowns.org.nz/
and then of course 350 Aotearoa's latest brainchild - 10/10/10 Global Climate Working Bee - a fantastic way to spark the imagination, meet some like minds, and get active. Check out www.350.org.nz for more info!

@ 12.00 – GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BREATH
The Breath is the link between the body, mind and spirit. When the mind is free of fear, guilt and anger, and is more centered, then it can heal the system of any ailment."
~ H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
The breath plays an essential role in how we feel physically and emotionally.
Over 80% of emotional and physical impurities in the body are eliminated through the breath, yet most people use less than 35% of their lung capacity.
Like other rhythms throughout nature, our breath also moves in specific patterns at particular times. Have you ever observed your breath when you felt anxious, angry, relaxed or happy? Every emotion is instantly reflected in the rhythm of the breath.
Take time today to learn about YOUR breath and join us for guided meditation on the 7 chakras.

@ 2.00 THERE IS NO ENERGY CRISIS
Co-creating the “Free Energy” revolution
Following the work of Nikola Tesla, John Bedini & others: experimenters all over the world are now sharing information needed to “open source” the technology.
Find out more about …….
Introducing breakthrough technologies that have the power to radically transform our planet & way of life.
Free energy motors devices & systems, use a small amount of input power to draw a larger amount from the surrounding environment......impossible? No......
So long as the energy comes from somewhere this does not violate the laws of physics....
In fact several devices in common use already do this, including fridges & air-conditioning.
We can also do this electrically….
By redesigning our technology we can create electrical devices such as motors & generators that collect “radiant electricity”from the “Active Vacuum” or Ether.
All we need is the will & consciousness to create a new reality…. which
eagerly awaits us!
Led by Paul Larkin

All workshops are held in the Titirangi Community House. The workshop venue is signposted.

thank you Lindsay. This is just what I need to hear. My heart feels like an old chipped, precious cup, sometimes. I have just recently decided not to keep it on the top shelf anymore for special use but to just use it day after day, and it still manages to hold tea.
