It’s that special time again… Time to Be Amazed! Let’s welcome winter in the cosy lounge of the Southern Cross at day’s end on a May Monday. 

As we come down from one hugely inspiring and entertaining Be Amazed event (check out some of the things we looked at here) it’s time to start looking forward to the next one. 

We had such a good time, we’re going to stick to a similar format:

1. Local Showcase: Celebrating extraordinary people and activities in our city. One local (incredibly exciting and Top Secret) speaker talks for 5 minutes..

 2. World Showcase: 5 inspiring things in 5 minutes, harvested from around the world.

 3. Open Mic: 5 minutes for anyone in the room to share  what they’re up to or what they’re thinking about. If you’ve got something you want to say, try thinking about how you could put your message across in 30 seconds.

 4. Magic conversations – chattering and chittering.

Plus more delights and surprises on the night.

Entry is $10, which gives you an $8 voucher to spend on food/drink on the night, with $2 going to Intersect to cover costs.

Q: Do I need to belong to Intersect to come on my own?
A: Nope, just drop by. It would be great to meet you.
Q: Can you tell us who the presenter is this month?
A: Yes, but that would spoil the surprise. And surprises RULE!
Q: I didn't RSVP, but can I still drop in on the night?
